Welcome to the Fundraising Page for Nicole Freeman!

Hi Everyone!

I am running the 2026 United Airlines Half Marathon with Team Continuum in my continuing efforts to support pediatric cancer patients and families facing this difficult experience.

When I began looking for a charity to run for, it was important for me to choose one that aligned with something deeply personal to myself and my family. Unfortunately, pediatric cancer is something many families know too well. Team Continuum is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting pediatric cancer patients and their families when they need it most by way of paying rent, utility bills, putting food on the table, and covering essential expenses that insurance does not reimburse.

As many of you know, my cousin’s daughter, Hazel, was just two years old when she was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer that affects the nervous system. Over five years, Hazel endured multiple rounds of treatment and two relapses, all while facing each day with incredible courage, joy, and a spirit that touched everyone around her. Hazel passed away at just seven years old, but her and her family’s strength and light continue to inspire me every day.

Families facing this unimaginable experience navigate much more than a medical fight – experiencing financial stress, uncertainty, and the challenge of simply keeping life moving forward and some type of normalcy while caring for a sick child.

Every donation goes directly toward easing the day-to-day burdens for pediatric cancer families when they need it most. Thank you for supporting my run!
