THE STORY: Hey everyone!! This November I am running in the New York Marathon!!! In doing so I am hoping to raise $3,000 for Pediatric Cancer research. This will be a great experience and opportunity to raise awareness for the fantastic work Cancer Research does. Many of us have lost family members and friends to cancer, while those who have survived, along with their families, are left battling the emotional trauma that comes with it.

THE CAUSE: Team Continuum is dedicated to helping pediatric cancer patients fighting all types of cancer. Team Continuum has bought airline tickets, purchased schoolbooks and laptops for children, spruced up hospitals with festive decor, and helped in a million small ways. With your help they can continue this great work.

THE EVENT: The ING New York Marathon is on Sunday 3rd November and is 26.2 miles. (I know, wish me luck!) As one of the largest marathons in the world with over 50,000 runners, it courses through all 5 boroughs of New York City!!!!!! (Staten Island, The Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, & ends in Manhattan)

Please dig deep and donate whatever you can; no matter how great or small your donation is, it will go a long way. I also understand not everyone can donate to every charity cause, so don’t feel obliged if you can’t.
