In four short weeks, I will be running the NYC Marathon with Team Continuum. I chose to run with this special charity in support of multiple family friends who have dealt with a pediatric cancer diagnosis.
Team Continuum provides immediate and vital non-medical assistance to pediatric cancer patients and their families when the diagnosis results in disruption, hardship and uncertainty in their everyday lives. They also provide funding to health care facilities and foundations, to enhance the delivery of care, communication and educational services for cancer patients.
