Welcome to the Fundraising Page for Joseph Bonvicino!

I have joined Team Continuum to help pediatric cancer patients and their families cope with the expenses and stresses of everyday life so they can focus on receiving crucial medical care. Below is a person perspective from my dear friends, Lori and Matt. We are running in honor of their daughter, Penelope, and her incredible strength.
“I hope to run the NYC half marathon in honor of my daughter Penelope’s strength.
At the age of 3 years old she was diagnosed with leukemia and received a bone marrow transplant. After being cancer free and being considered cured for 11 years, this past May 2022, Penelope was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma.
We know first hand the extreme burden that a cancer diagnosis can cause on a family. When Penelope was first diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 3 years, I was forced to leave my job that as a family we relied on the income. We were provided financial support from Friends of Karen (which Team Continuum works closely with). Without Friends of Karen I can confidently say we would have been unable to make ends meet.
A pediatric cancer diagnosis can be finically devastating on families, and can cause a family to go into bankruptcy and or tremendous lifetime of debt, to care for their child.
I have joined Team Continuum to help pediatric cancer patients and their families cope with the expenses and stresses of everyday life so they can focus on receiving crucial medical care.”
Your support of my fundraising effort is vital to Team Continuum’s success and I deeply appreciate your generosity and encouragement!
