Welcome to the ING New York City Marathon, Sunday November 7th, 2010 and thank you for joining the Hope & Heroes Team!

Running the marathon is one of the most difficult physical challenges anyone can take on. So is cancer—especially in children. Thank you for choosing to run and fundraise for our young patients and their families and show them your generous and dedicated support.

We appreciate Team Continuum's support of our programs and look forward to continued support, this year for a very special and ground-breaking program at our clinic – the Integrative Therapies Program for Children with Cancer. This program provides a variety of complementary and alternative medicine services to help children and their families as they progress through cancer therapy and into survivorship. Services include massage, acupuncture, aromatherapy, yoga, meditation and nutritional counseling all with the intention of lessening the side effects of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Hope & Heroes Children’s Cancer Fund is the exclusive charity for pediatric oncology at the Herbert Irving Child & Adolescent Oncology Center at Columbia University MedicalCenter.
