Friends and Family,

On November 7th 2010, I will be lacing up my shoes and embarking on a 26 mile journey that will lead me though the seemingly endless streets of New York City.  I will be running the NYC Marathon. 

The thought of running a marathon has crossed my mind in the past but generally that thought was always quickly erased by my conscience obliterating any lingering notion of the idea.  The almost insurmountable amount of miles one has to run in-order-to just train for a marathon, makes committing to such an event a very overwhelming endeavor.  But that once lost, abandoned, (some say 'crazy') thought has again resurfaced and finally succeded in breaking though the barrier and now I am set to conquor New York.  So while I will be tending to sore muscles and aching joints, I will also be running to raise money to help benefit an organization who is dedicated in helpling cancer patients minimize daily disruptions so they can focus on beating cancer.  Team Continuum. 

Team Continuum is a non-profit organization dedicated to taking immediate care of anyone involved in fighting cancer. Continuum gives cancer patients access to the everyday cure. They fill in the physical and emotional gaps of support so cancer patients can have the strength to focus on their treatment.  Team Continuum has always prided itself on being the custodians of funds donated to the organization by the general public.

I hope to raise $3000 to support this very worthy cause by November 1st and then I will take to the streets of the Big Apple!  Any contributions are GREATLY appreciated!
