Dear Friends and Loved Ones,
You may or may not know that I've been training for the NYC Half-Marathon on Sunday, March 21st.  I will be running on behalf of this great cancer charity -- Team Continuum -- and in memory of two cherished women I recently lost to the disease, my Aunt Colette ("Bitsy") and my cousin Antonia.  It's my first endurance race and I'll certainly need those two angels to help me make it through the 13-plus miles.
If you could be angels yourselves and make a small donation towards my $1,000.00 goal, I would be truly grateful.  If not, no worries, I know times are tough.  Just send me good vibes on race day instead!

PS - A little bit about Team Continuum:  it's a charity that cares for the immediate non-medical needs of cancer patients not reimbursed by insurance.  Its focus on helping people living with cancer today by giving gifts to children in cancer hospitals and hiring nutritionists for cancer centers lacking resources.  Team Continuum was started by an amazing man who wanted to run the NYC Marathon while being treated for the disease.  Guess what?  He did it!
